Apiary Sites

We currently have two apiary sites within the Birmingham area.

The Hams Hall apiary is nestled within a picturesque loop created by the River Tame. Spanning 50 hectares, this site boasts a diverse range of habitats including woodlands, wetlands, reed beds, and pools. It's a thriving ecosystem, providing a home to over 200 bird species as well as various amphibians and mammals, including otters, tawny owls, barn owls, and muntjac deer. It truly is a paradise for wildlife!

On the other hand, the Perry Locks apiary is located at the heart of a residential community allotment, running alongside the Tame Valley canal just beyond Birmingham City center. Despite being surrounded by houses, it's just a stone's throw away from a 158-acre country park teeming with urban wildlife and natural beauty.
